Applying Digital Technology in Today's Dentistry

Dr. Harshit Aggarwal is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist in Annandale, Virginia. He graduated from Nair Hospital Dental College in Mumbai, where he earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004. Upon moving to the United States, he attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now known as Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he earned a certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. A is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontists; Fellow of the American Association of Maxillofacial Prosthodontics; member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon; and honorary clinician of the NYCDT Study Club. He also serves as the President of the VaACP and is co-chair of the VDA-PAC committee.
Dr. A was a faculty member at Marquette University School of Dentistry and served as Chair of Pre-doctoral Prosthodontics and Biomaterials during his tenure. He also served on the Master’s Committee for Prosthodontic Residents and reviewed manuscripts for the Journal of Prosthodontics and the Journal of Prosthodontics. He mentored many students in poster presentations and has lectured extensively.
Currently, Dr. A maintains a restorative and general practice in NoVa, featuring an integrated dental lab and a medspa. 

Dr. Harshit will present the whole range of digital technology and its applications in dentistry today. This will include dynamic navigated surgery, Photogrammetry, Intra-oral scanning, 3-D printing, and implant treatment overviews.

1. To create confidence and adaptation of digital technology in today’s dental practices. (for those hesitant to get involved)
2. To show how it can be implemented and maximized in a day-to-day environment. (from surgical planning to patient-specific treatment solutions, such as occlusal guards, aligners, temporaries, and final restorations)
3. To elevate a practice’s efficiency and profitability by creating a more comfortable experience for the patient.
